halloween 2002 lorne as the grim reaper "roderick had decided that he wanted to be a wizard, but lorne couldn't make up his mind as to what he wanted.  the pattern for rod's costume not only had the cape that he needed, but it had a hooded cape for making a grim reaper costume.  i thought it would be simple and talked lorne into wearing that.  i bought him a plastic scythe, although he really wanted to use the real one that's in mom's basement.  i was able to get his pointy gloves at value village, and he spent most of his time pointing at an imaginary table and saying, 'the salmon mousse!'"
