meat draw 2004 lil as the candy elf "the amaranth had started doing weekly meat draws at the french quarter pub, in coquitlam.  like the elf nights, i found that you could get a lot more money out of people if you had a gimmick - flash them a little extra smile...a little leg....  through the month of december, i'd been adding things to my usual attire - reindeer antlers the first week, santa hat and black boots the second, and the third i made these elf costumes for mary and i.  originally, both costumes were supposed to be made from the same pattern - the one the snow elf was made from - but i tried two separate times and could not get her pattern to fit me.  i finally went back to what i knew would work, and based the candy elf on the 2000 holly elf."
