Beaker

"i got annoyed with lorne last year because people from work had asked him if i made costumes for other people and he'd told them no. so i made lorne's costume for free and didn't realize i had the opporunity to make a little money instead. this year, i met his friend laura and told her that i'd be happy to make a costume for her. she chose beaker, and i thought it would be easy - a lab coat, shirt, pants and wig. but she was very demanding and kept bringing up things like how i'd do the mouth, etc. i finally took lorne aside and said, 'she does realize i can't turn her into beaker, right?' when i was finished the hood, i tried it on with the face and wig, and realized that i'd done exactly that. i've never been so challenged and never been so happy with the results."
