halloween 2002 lil as raggedy ann "i was frustrated this year because i was making costumes for both lorne and roderick, but i wasn't working and couldn't afford anything for myself.  mom watched me get more and more angry, and we finally struck a deal where i would make the cheapest costume i could think of and she'd pay for the materials.  i liked the raggedy ann costume that the simplicity pattern company had come out with this year and, since it would only require bargain-bin cottons, i went with it.  the shoes were an absolutely brilliant last-minute find at value village, and i just love the overall effect."
